“The ultimate celebration of food, drink and music is back!” Taste of Dubai
Good news for all foodies as Taste of Dubai, in partnership with Philips, is back at the Dubai Media City Amphitheatre from 3rd – 5th February. The outdoor culinary celebration, which is being touted as being its biggest and best yet, is returning after its pandemic enforced hiatus. Visitors can expect a showcase of some of Dubai’s best restaurants, celebrity chefs, cooking workshops, masterclasses, live music and so much more.

Bite sized signature dishes will be available from popular restaurants such as Reif, Carnival by Tresind, Torno Subito and Akira Back. Speciality grilled meats from 11 Woodfire and fire cooked seasonal offerings from Lowe are not to be missed. The Taste Tent will host Shang Palace, Bushra by Buddha Bar and Rhodes W1 among others.
Fifteen chefs will be in action over the three days with a schedule of live cooking and masterclasses – see the full line-up of chefs HERE. Personally I’m looking forward to seeing BAFTA-winning British TV star, chef and musician Big Zuu (aka Zuhair Hassan) and Masterchef legend John Torode. Others to look out for are Taste legend Jenny Morris, French pastry chef Eric Lanlard, local favourite Hattem Mattar and renowned British Michelin starred chef Jason Atherton.
This year’s festival is offering plenty of free, hands-on activities for keen amateur cooks. The Philips Cook School will be hosting cooking classes with advice and techniques from the on-site celebrity chefs. Learn tricks of the trade and how to prepare classic dishes – click HERE for the full schedule. Fancy improving your BBQ skills? Waterfront Market, Dubai’s premier fresh food market, will be running the ultimate BBQ class in association with Weber grills. The Kibsons Cooking Challenge is inviting Taste visitors to get involved in the Kibsons Mystery Box Cooking Challenge, an opportunity to create dishes with mystery ingredients under the guidance of talented chefs.

Live music will keep visitors entertained throughout the three-day family friendly event. There’s a VIP lounge access for those with relevant tickets and a mega kids zone to keep the younger members of the family entertained. Taste of Dubai will offer lots of foodie fun with the very best from Dubai’s gastronomical scene alongside homegrown brands and live entertainment.
