New Menu at Garage | W Abu Dhabi – Yas Island

New chefs means new exciting menus at Garage located at the iconic W Abu Dhabi – Yas Island. Taking on the role of Executive Chef is Deivid Paiva from Portugal, who brings fifteen years experience to the table with the most recent being at the Ritz-Carlton Tianjin in China. Global chef Paiva returns to the capital having previously worked here earlier in his cooking career. He’s joined in the kitchen by Executive Sous Chef, Okky Pradipta who brings a taste of Indonesia to the elevated menu.

The teaser event earlier this week gave invited guests an insight of what to expect from the new menu  ahead of its official launch next week. The restaurant’s five culinary hubs will offer unique flavours and creative dishes. Designed for meat lovers, Meat Vault’s dishes include the signature carnivore savoury doughnut and the carnivore tray with beef short ribs, steak, sausage, roasted root vegetables and cheesy chips. 

There’s Asian fusion flavours aplenty at Steam Table with Singaporean coconut laksa, Indonesian beef rendang, steam buns and crustacean dumplings. Sushi lovers are in for a treat at Nikkei House with dishes including cold Tasmanian smoked salmon pizza, Norigami sushi tacos and mosaic sashimi. Assorted hot mezze and green peas hummus are two choices from the Mezza Bar. An array of desserts will be served at Garage’s in-situ Tart Van including signature tarts and house made ice-cream.
