Looking for a great way to end the weekend? Every Saturday from 4pm until 1am female guests at Warehouse get a whopping 50% of their total bill and there’s plenty to choose from. The industrial style bar has a vast beverage selection offering international wines (that span three pages of the menu) along with cocktails, sangria, froze, draft & bottled beers and mocktails for the alcohol free option.
Pair your drinks with casual style sharing food, light bites, sliders, meat & cheese platters and sausages sold by the metre. This is a cheese lovers paradise, with so many different fromage based dishes on the menu. Get cheesy with a whole baked camembert, raclette melt, fondue or build-your-own mac & cheese. There’s also deep fried cheesy bites, an XXL grilled cheese to share as well as halloumi and parmesan fries.
We enjoyed wines and cocktails alongside a very tasty goats cheese flatbread drizzled with balsamic vinegar and topped with fresh rocket and toasted pine nuts. This is a must order dish that goes particularly well with a nice glass of South African red. We kept the cheesy theme going with the whole baked camembert topped with honey balsamic, raspberries and walnuts served with bread for dipping and the manchego croquettes with chorizo.
Sweet tooth diners only have three desserts to choose from, we tried the milk chocolate fondue served with various trimmings for dipping. Disappointedly the sweet treats differed from those listed on the menu and the chocolate took a while to warm up, however the fresh strawberries dipped in chocolate were great. There’s also the Jack D’elicious split aka whiskey soaked bananas and the deconstructed strawberry sundae known as the Strawberry Yum.
The service is always good here, just the right mix of helpful and attentive. As well as the Ladies Night the bar has so many weekly offers that it would be hard to not find something you like.
