GuavaPass x Lipton Tea Yoga Class | Zaya Nurai Island

We can’t wait to NamasTea with you.” GuavaPass

The lovely gals at GuavaPass always organise the best events. Yoga at Saadiyat Beach Club, yoga on a Dhow boat (which I sadly missed) and most recently a very exciting yoga and wellness day in conjunction with Lipton Green Tea at the award winning Zaya Nurai Island.IMG_8183This latest event saw GuavaPass join forces with Lipton has part of their current  #LighterwithLipton campaign. A selected group of lucky ladies (some gents too) from Abu Dhabi and Dubai received hand delivered invites in the form of personalised crates filled with different flavoured Lipton teas.

IMG_8186FW6A9869 Up bright and early we were transported via speedboat from the Saadiyat Island welcome centre to the private island that feels more like you’ve arrived in the Maldives rather than somewhere just off the Abu Dhabi coast. This slice of paradise is quite simply amazing. Beautiful white sandy beaches and lush greenery all surrounded by crystal blue waters of the Arabian Gulf, definitely the capital’s ‘hidden gem’ just a 12-minute boat trip from the mainland.

Lipton emblazoned green yoga mats were set up in a beachfront shaded area near the main pool with complimentary tea menu offered at the Ginger Mermaid pool bar, transformed into a Lipton’s Tea Bar for the occasion. A selection of mocktails were of offer from hot teas to smoking cold tea mocktails with dry ice or fruit infusions.

Local yoga instructor Tina Bock taught the hour-long session that was followed by a superfoods brunch at Frangipani restaurant and tea-based nutrition talk. We were then ferried in convoys of golf carts to the Smokin’ Pineapple beach club for some massages, face painting and chill out time at the beach. The perfect place to relax in a hammock, find shade in a tepee, grab a drink from the bar, take a dip in the infinity pool or swing over the sea.FW6A0050FW6A0053 GuavaPass, the monthly fitness membership has revolutionised how and where you can work out in Abu Dhabi by taking the stress out of organising a fitness routine.
