Abu Dhabi’s newest family-friendly gastropub, The Sportsman’s Arms has opened its Jack’s Terrace which overlooks the tennis courts at its Zayed Sports City location. This spacious outdoor area has its own bar and bbq area which attracted a large crowd to this week’s grand opening, attended by myself and the other half.

I am not a natural camper but having said that I survived our first desert trip last year, one might even say I enjoyed it, so I felt more prepared for this weekend’s outdoor adventure to the depths of Abu Dhabi’s Western Region, but I will in all honestly never get used to the lack of toilet facilities.
