“We strive constantly to bring you a high quality of services, with a personal touch and atmosphere to make your trip in Musandam unforgettable.” Musandam Sea Adventure Travel & Tourism
After many years since our last visit we decided it was time to take another Dhow cruise in Oman to coincide with the arrival of our first overseas visitors post-pandemic.
We stayed at the fabulous new Address Beach Resort Fujairah and crossed over the nearby border into the Oman Peninsula to set sail from Dibba harbour. The full-day trip, aboard a two-story traditional Arabian wooden Dhow, cruised through the Musandam fjords (khors) along the jagged coastline. The sightseeing trip included a variety of activities or an opportunity to relax on the shaded upper deck.
Those looking to keep busy could swim, snorkel, kayak, take a transfer to Haffa beach, blast around on a speed boat or get the adrenaline pumping on a banana boat ride. The second stop of the tour offered hand-line fishing but the super windy conditions made it tricky. It’s an affordable trip with a traditional hot Omani buffet lunch served on board as well as tea, coffee and unlimited soft drinks/water. Snacks and fresh fruit are available throughout the voyage.
The mountainous scenery and clear, crystal blue waters were stunning and the peaceful area is the perfect place to step away from hectic everyday lives for a few hours and enjoy nature. The rugged cliffs can be explored close up by kayak and you might even spot a turtle. All equipment such as life jackets, snorkels and fishing lines are provided. All that was missing were the dolphins that we spotted on our last trip.
We booked the excursion with Musandam Sea Adventure Travel & Tourism and opted for private hotel transfers from Fujairah. The booking process was very easy via What’s App, payment was made by bank transfer before the trip and the service onboard was faultless as was the cleanliness of the Dhow.

Sounds and looks great. 10 years here and we still haven’t been to Musandam. On the bucket list 🙂
Definitely one to try, the change of scenery is so drastic. I would highly recommend the Address Beach Hotel Fujairah which is only 30 minutes from the departure point across the Oman border in Dibba Harbour. Khasab is on our bucket list to try next as the Dhow cruise looks fab 🙂
Dhow cruise is the most exciting activity when you are visiting Musandam Oman. If you are a sea lover then overnight Dhow cruise in Musandam Oma the best choice for you.
Thanks for the recommendation:-)
Musandam is know for its amazing fjords, bays and sandy beaches. Fjords are only possible to be visited by the speed boats or with the traditional wooden dhow cruises.
