eforea Spa is a five-star wellness facility located on the ground floor of the Hilton Abu Dhabi Yas Island. It’s the hotel’s first anniversary and as part of that celebration the spa is offering a couples package offering two 60-minute massages and complimentary pool access for just AED 700.
The luxurious spa is well equipped with separate female and male facilities offering state-of-the-art amenities including a whirlpool, sauna, steam room and colourful experience shower. There are a number of stylish, contemporary treatment rooms and a private couples room. The private relaxation rooms are light, comfortable and peaceful, a serene place to chill and enjoy the post-treatment tea selection.
The extensive treatment menu offers The Essentials, The Escape and The Men’s journeys that focus on balance and wellness with results driven treatments and products. Spa guests are invited to pamper themselves with a selection of facials, body treatments and massages. The Experience ~ My daughter and I both had the Nurturing 60-minute massage with therapist Eva. Surprisingly we were not asked to complete any pretreatment questionnaire so all requests, such as areas to avoid and required pressure, were discussed with Eva before the start of the treatment. The treatment room was spacious and contemporary, the bed was comfortable, the pressure was perfect and the massage was deeply relaxing.
The results ~ It was a good massage that targeted all the areas that needed extra attention. All the knots and tension in my neck and shoulders was eradicated and I felt refreshed.
Pros ~ Eva was an accomplished therapist who delivered a professional massage that combined traditional massage strokes with stretching. The hotel’s anniversary ‘Perfect Pair Relaxation’ offer is fantastic value at AED 700 per couple including pool access and use of all the spa facilities. The spa was very accommodating as we were a ‘mother & daughter’ couple we were permitted to have treatments one after another with a female therapist.
Cons ~ Although the spa was stylish and clean there were mosquitoes in my room and I got bitten twice before my treatment. Eva had a callus on one of her hands that was noticeable during the massage.
The hotel’s palatial outdoor pool area is stunning with attentive staff that accommodated our every need. Day pass guests also receive 20% off all food and beverage purchased. We had lunch by the pool and the menu selection was varied and the food was perfect for our requirements. The taco & beverage offer is particularly great value.
If you are looking for a good massage in a luxurious, modern spa then this is the perfect place to go. I highly recommend the ‘Perfect Pair Relaxation’ offer which is valid until the end of March 2022.
