“Leave the city behind and head for the picturesque mountains of Hatta, where a cool climate, rugged horizons and untamed natural environment make for the perfect ecotourism adventure destination in Dubai’s most spectacular National Park.” Meraas
Escape city life and visit Hatta where you experience stunning mountain scenery and a slower pace of life just under a three-hour drive from Abu Dhabi (about ninety minutes from Dubai). Enjoy the National Park’s rugged terrain, plenty of fresh mountain air, outdoor pursuits and stay at one of the three ecotourism sites developed by Dubai developer, Meraas.
An array of adrenaline pumping activities await you at Hatta Wadi Park including mountain biking, hiking trails, ziplining, axe throwing, archery, carting and so much more. Take a short drive to Hatta Dam to kayak on the lake or rent a pedalo or donut boat. Relax as the sun sets with a BBQ and enjoy a spot of stargazing from your mountain lodge terrace. We stayed at the Damani Lodges Resort in a hilltop cabin suite reachable by mountain terrain buggy but other options include the Sedr Trailer Resort, the region’s first trailer park, staying in a retro silver airstream or at Hatta Caravan park at the base of the mountain.
Alongside the new Meraas development Hatta itself offers visitors the opportunity to visit the UAE’s oldest preserved heritage village, the Hatta Reservoir and explore what nature has to offer in the region with natural pools, mountain trials and wadis.

Hatta Wadi Hub activities and Hatta Caravan Park, Sedr Trailers Resort & Damani Lodges Resort will close for the summer period from 4th May 2019 and will reopen on 1st October 2019.
