“Everything we hear is an opinion, not a fact. Everything we see is a perspective, not the truth.” Marcus Aurelius
Last week’s photo challenge (only a day or two late posting this week!) was about Perspective. Participating bloggers were asked to post a photo, which is not what it seems to be. Those looking for an extra bit of challenge were asked to show two photos, each one showing a different angle or interpretation of the same subject.
“Perspective is important to every photographer. With the creative use of perspective narrowed down through the lens of a camera, a bit of gravel can look like a barren desert landscape or a few trees can trick the eye into thinking you’re deep in a centuries-old forest.”
So here are my two photos of the Al Muneera pedestrian bridge which connects the island part of the development to the mainland. The first photo shows the view of the bridge as you walk across it from the island and the second shows the bridge in full profile across the canal, joining the two parts of the residential development.
