When I saw this weeks photo challenge was entitled Juxtaposition, I had to google it to find out what it was! So there were several variations of the definition such as “the fact of two things being seen or placed close together with contrasting effect.” and “the act or placement of two things (usually abstract concepts) near each other.”
Not really much in my photo library that lent itself to either of those interpretations until I stumbled on an idea from an outing this weekend. I have used three photos from our visit to the Dubai Miracle Gardens, a new discovery on our tourist radar recommended by a friend who took his parents there. So here are the photos of cars and a boat used as flower pots, now surely that counts as ‘Juxtaposition’ doesn’t it?? Well its the best I can do……
Great photos. My husband and I visited the Miracle Garden last year in May when it was quite hot and all the flowers were wilted. Now looks much better 🙂
