So I finally caved after many conversations, lots of cajoling and much procrastination on my part, (believe me many, many chats and persuasive tactics were used) this expat princess went camping in the desert. The teenager had quite the experience with her recent stint as a ball girl at the sixth annual Sheikh Mohammed bin Saeed bin Hamdan Al Nahyan Tennis Tournament held at the Sea Palace in Al Bateen here in Abu Dhabi.

Last week I attended the first Multaqa (meaning ‘The Gathering’ in Arabic) previewing Abu Dhabi’s latest addition to Saadiyat Cultural District, Zayed National Museum. This Multaqa was the first of a series of five different themed talks scheduled to be held all over the emirate until May to keep the public informed prior to the opening of the new facility next year.
