American all girl group Fifth Harmony will performing for one night only at Du Forum in Abu Dhabi on Friday 16th March as part of their global PSA Tour.

With three albums and a clutch of awards under their belt the group have gone from strength to strength gaining pop stardom and worldwide popularity with chart topping singles such as Worth It, Work from Home and their latest single Down ft. Gucci Mane.

Hailing from Miami, the four piece pop and R&B group (originally five members until Camila Cabello departed to pursue a solo career in late 2016) is made up of Ally Brooke, Dinah Jane Hansen, Lauren Jauregui and Normani Kordei. They rose to fame after finishing third on the second season of The X Factor USA back in 2012.

The girls, who auditioned as solo singers with varying levels of success, were saved from individual elimination by music afficado Simon Cowell who then formed Fifth Harmony (much like he did with One Direction on the UK version of the show in 2010) and mentored them throughout the show. Their third place finish subsequently landed them a joint record deal with Syco (Cowell’s entertainment company) and Epic Records. The PSA Tour is their third major concert tour to date.

They might not have been crowned the X Factor winners but they have gone on to become one of the show’s most successful acts with over ten million in record sales as well as a plethora of awards and accolades. Since launching their career they have become the first all-female group to win the MTV Video Music Award for Artist to Watch since The Pussycat Dolls in 2008. The group topped the Billboard’s annual ‘21 under 21 list’ in 2016. To date they have also won four iHeartRadio Music Awards and MTV Europe Music Awards as well as an American Music award, Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards, seven Teen Choice Awards and a whopping eight Radio Disney Music Awards among many others.
