New Year here in the UAE means the release of the new Entertainer products for 2016 and another twelve months of fabulous buy one get one free savings. If like me you love a voucher than  buying this years Entertainer should be top of your 2016 shopping list. A must for enjoying all the offers in the city, The Entertainer products offer vouchers to the best restaurants, activities, attractions, spas and hotels across forty destinations throughout the Middle East, Africa, Europe and Asia.

I have purchased The Entertainer annually since 2009, first in the book form and from last year as a handy app on my mobile phone ensuring I always have the right voucher with me at all times, my family saved over AED 6,000 in 2015 alone. In the last seven years we have saved thousands of dirhams along the way, family, friends and even visitors have all benefitted from the abundance of buy one get one free offers on meals, attractions and activities with the book paying for itself very quickly.

Here in Abu Dhabi there is a large selection of vouchers to experience activities such as Yas Waterworld, Ferrari World, Desert Safari adventures and even rounds of golf on championship golf courses. More and more great places have been added year on year from cafes to fine dining restaurants at top hotels, literally hundreds of opportunities to try out new dining experiences, discover new places and even keep frequenting those places you love the most while saving all the time (certain vouchers always go the quickest in my household every year). Now there’s even vouchers for car rentals, suit tailoring or luxury dress rental, in short it’s always worth checking the app before you do anything.

The app has saved me from having copious amounts of paper vouchers in my purse and still not always still having the right one to hand, not having to carry the book around is a real bonus. One of the best features is the fantastic sharing capability that’s perfect for grown-up families like mine so everyone can access vouchers on their phones wherever they are. Location/map software shows you the offers available nearby and a savings tracker keeps a running total of just how much you are saving.

The app is a fantastic savings companion and a must have for all expats in my opinion especially now you can have instant access to your offers on your smartphone (as long as you have battery of course). Redeeming a voucher is really quick, easy and efficient, just enter a four digit pin number and then the retailers enter their pin and it’s job done. Additional monthly offers pop-up on your phone including brunch offers and selected beverage deals that are really good. The app search capabilities have been improved in 2016 so you can now search offers by category, area, outlet, cuisine, location or even by attributes such as whether the venue has halal, shisha, valet parking and even Wi-Fi. World-class brands Trip Advisor and Uber have now been integrated with the Entertainer App.

This year’s Abu Dhabi edition has over one thousand and three hundred buy one get one free offers in the capital and comes with the Entertainer Travel 2015 completely free, which offers free hotel nights across the Middle East, Asia, Africa, Europe and the Indian Ocean. The Abu Dhabi product offers AED 310,000 in savings for use in 2016 and an additional AED 100,000 in the separate Abu Dhabi Body product.

Some Entertainer 2016 facts……

• The Abu Dhabi 2016 offers over 1,300 Buy One Get One Free offers for over three hundred dining, leisure, attractions and services in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain with the potential to save up to AED 310,000 in 2016. (The App costs AED 345 and the book AED 395 and that includes the Entertainer Travel).
• The Abu Dhabi Body 2016 has over 500 Buy One Get One Free offers for seventy-five spas, beauty grooming and fitness outlets in Abu Dhabi. AED 100,000 can be saved in 2016 with this product. (The App costs AED 245 and the book cost AED 295.)
• The Entertainer mobile products are currently AED 50  cheaper than the book versions, so you are saving already when purchasing the app over the book.
• The Entertainer app can be shared with close friends and family. The product can be installed on multiple devices so offers can be shared by using the same login details (perfect for my teenager to dine out with her friends and sharing offers with visitors). Sharing offers is easy, with the new Ping feature which allows you to send up to ten offers to friends and relatives.
• The app offers additional exclusive monthly offers as well as offers from new merchants that are added every month that are obviously not available with the book. These offers are automatically added to the App and appear under ‘My Offers’. You can search the app by hotel, mall, offer name (e.g. brunch), cuisine type and more.

You can have multiple products in one place. I have the Entertainer Abu Dhabi, Entertainer Abu Dhabi Body and Entertainer Travel all installed on my phone already with my offers for all my products available in one place.
