Last week I was invited by Elemis Middle East to attend an exclusive breakfast event held at the presidential suite of The Westin Abu Dhabi Golf Resort and Spa.

Elemis, the British luxury skincare and spa brand is celebrating twenty-five years in the business. The breakfast event was a perfect opportunity to showcase their gift sets as well as demonstrating their BioTec revolutionary facials which are available exclusively in Abu Dhabi at the Heavenly Spa located on the ground floor of the hotel.

As well as the range of beautifully presented skincare sets, an Elemis expert had flown over from the UK to educate us on the science and essence of the products and treatments, that harness the power of nature and science to give the best effects and long lasting results.

The colourful luxury gift sets included the fragrant Forever Frangipani collection, the anti-ageing Collagen Day and Night duo, the Bright Start collection for radiant and luminous skin, the Radiant moments set for putting the spring back into the skin, the Marine Dream Collection infused with the power of the sea and a men’s shave and skin duo set.

The Elemis product range covers both skincare and body care across an extensive range of products and to celebrate their quarter century anniversary, they have put together a twenty-years of excellence set for the face and body combining twenty-five Heritage Heroes products in one ultimate collection (pictured below).

Part of the event was the opportunity to have skin mapping, using facial technology to identify the skin’s impurities such as ageing, sun damage and harsh environmental factors that affect the skin. The mapping produced a Facial Assessment Report that highlighted problem areas such as spots, wrinkles, pores, brown spots caused by sun damage and red areas. As well as diagnosing the issues the process also produces a prescription that recommended products to help counteract the findings, prevent further wrinkles and hydrate the skin. A daunting but interesting experience and let’s just say my product list was very long.

The Elemis BioTec machine and technology offers seven different Spa Power Booster Facials treatments and I have been fortunate enough to have already experienced the exclusive facial at the Heavenly Spa and it was amazing. Alongside the products, the BioTec facial demonstration and breakfast we enjoyed a tour around the ginormous fifth floor two-bedroom presidential suite that has been a home away from home for many celebrities, sportsmen and VIPs. With two master bedrooms, private massage facilities, walk-in closets, a cinema screening room, gym, kitchen, office, lounge and dining areas as well as three outdoor terraces affording unrivalled views across the Abu Dhabi National golf course this suite was off the scale, seeing really was believing.
