The Weekly Photo Challenge brief for this week is Eerie.

On a trip to Hong Kong last year, we took the bus ride to the top of the famous Victoria Peak to view the city from its best vantage point . However, as we trundled our way up the steep and winding roads, we found ourselves in a low mist and clouds, that were swirling around the Peak, restricting the views.

Once at top, a strange, dense, gloomy layer of mist hung over the city. Although it was still warm and humid it was really dark and grey and the air even felt cold, even though it was only midway through the day. We took the old-fashioned peak tram down and came out of the mist to beautiful sunshine, definitely an eerie experience.
